Privacy Policy
Effective May 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Fieldr(“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Fieldrservice (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
We collect information in two categories:
- Contractor account information. Business name, contact name, email address, phone number, and billing details provided by the trade business that subscribes to the Service.
- End-customer conversation data. When a homeowner or end customer contacts a contractor's phone number, we process the phone number, the content of inbound and outbound messages, call metadata (timestamps, duration), and any appointment details collected during the conversation. We do not collect information from end customers who have not initiated contact with a participating contractor.
2. How we use information
We use information solely to operate and improve the Service:
- To respond to customer inquiries on behalf of the contractor.
- To qualify service jobs and schedule appointments.
- To send appointment confirmations and reminders.
- To improve the accuracy of the dispatcher in aggregate.
- To meet legal, regulatory, and carrier-compliance obligations (including A2P 10DLC).
We do not sell, rent, or share end-customer phone numbers, message content, or conversation data with third parties for marketing purposes. Carrier/telecom data is never shared with third parties for any purpose, in accordance with industry guidelines.
3. Subprocessors
We use a small set of infrastructure providers to deliver the Service. Each operates under a data processing agreement and industry-standard security controls:
- Google Cloud Platform — application hosting and conversation database (Cloud Run, Firestore).
- Twilio — SMS and voice connectivity to mobile carriers.
- Google (Gemini API) — AI generation of dispatcher responses. Conversation content sent to Gemini is processed only to generate the reply and is not used by Google to train its general models.
4. Opt-out and consent
End customers can opt out of automated messaging at any time by replying STOP. We honor opt-out requests immediately and persist them across sessions. Replying HELP returns contact information for the relevant contractor.
5. Data retention
Conversation data is retained for as long as the contractor maintains an active subscription, plus a reasonable period after termination for billing, audit, and legal-compliance purposes. Contractors may request deletion of specific customer records by contacting us at the address below.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to conversation data is restricted to the operating engineer and to automated systems necessary to provide the Service.
7. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for use by adult homeowners and trade businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
8. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
